As a child, fondu3 was inseparable from his art. His textbooks and notebooks at school were always teeming with sketches. He was more than just a passive learner; he was an active artist, translating every lesson into a canvas of his own creation. Yet, despite his obvious talent and passion, he was told that there was no money in art. He was encouraged to relegate his dreams to the realm of hobbies and seek a more "practical" career.

So, fondu3 became a chef. He excelled in his culinary career, his creativity manifesting in the dishes he crafted. His skills garnered recognition, and he found his name in The New York Times on October 13, 2006, a highlight of his culinary journey. Yet, despite his success in the kitchen, art always called to him, and he continued to create portraits and accept commissions on the side.

As the years passed, the pull toward art became too strong to ignore. Inspired by the plethora of incredible artists he discovered through social media, fondu3 decided to pivot and pursue his lifelong passion: He bought a Wacom tablet and began his journey into the world of digital art.

The advent of COVID-19 and the rise of virtual platforms like Clubhouse catalyzed fondu3's transition. Confined at home, he found the time and focus to double down on his art, painting every day. He turned the global pandemic into an opportunity to refine his craft and delve deeper into his passion.

Then came the emergence of NFTs, a paradigm shift that revolutionized the art world. Intrigued and excited by this new frontier, fondu3 immersed himself in the crypto world. His commitment paid off when he bought his first Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT, which opened doors to a new community of art enthusiasts. He began creating commissions for other ape owners, leading to the advent of the Bushido Apes and later, Bushido Royale.

Today, fondu3 is at the forefront of the digital art world, exploring new creative possibilities and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the NFT space. His next adventure? A journey across South America, where he'll continue his Tenere series, painting portraits of people he meets. He'll also develop new IPs and collections under his studio, Real Pixel.

This shift from chef to digital NFT artist was not just a change in profession for fondu3, but a return to his true calling. His journey is a reminder that it's never too late to pursue your passion, that the realm of art is vast and ever-evolving, and that the intersection of creativity and technology holds limitless possibilities.

His mission is clear in fondu3's own words: "This is why I am on this planet - to create art, build communities, and explore the human experience through portraits and art." His story inspires all of us to follow our dreams, embrace change, and make our mark on the world.
